I am an environmentally-minded artist, mother, teacher and student.
In addition to a Master of Fine Arts Degree in Socially Engaged Studio Art, I possess 20+ years of experience in the design world, having been an art director, a manager and a teacher, I know what it takes to be an artist from the inside out.
I believe in positive reinforcement and confidence building. I believe in learning through individual participation, exploration and discussion, encouraging my students in a safe, problem-solving and diverse learning environment. I believe the best learning takes place in a community where everyone feels respected.
I believe in process over product, I believe in using our artistic voices to educate and challenge others.
