Certified Tutor

I have a degree in English Literature, with a minor in history, from the University of Washington. I am preparing to begin my studies in Library and Information Sciences. I have worked with high school students on developing reading and writing skills for high school completion and college prep for more than 4 years. Many of the students I've worked with are learning English as their second (or third) language. My favorite subjects to tutor for are AP English and the SAT writing section. I also enjoy helping students prepare for the HSPE reading and writing exams. Outside of academia, I love to spend time outdoors- kayaking, running, hiking, and travelling- and I LOVE spending time with the dogs in my life!
