Certified Tutor

After receiving my degree in Child Studies from Vanderbilt University, I completed a post-baccalaureate program at Brandeis University. I am currently applying to medical schools and have several acceptances. I mainly tutor for the ACT and the MCAT, but I also tutor for most of the individual subjects that fall within those tests. The only exceptions are physics and organic chemistry. My favorite subjects to tutor are the ACT and MCAT because I believe that every student can significantly improve their score if given the correct test taking strategies. Seeing someone recognize their potential on these tests and subsequently demonstrate that potential to schools has always been incredibly rewarding. When teaching for these tests I try to instill that true success comes only from putting forth your best effort, and while everyone needs help sometimes, you must rely on yourself to reach your full potential. I currently live in Miami, but I am from New York. This means that I am a struggling, but devoted, Jets fan. I am also an avid scuba diver.
