Certified Tutor

I started tutoring in high school mainly helping classmates and peers with math after class. I then went on to do SAT, math, and biology tutoring while at USC. Most recently I've completed the MCAT and scored 99th percentile in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Psychology, and Sociology.

Math is the area that I have the most experience tutoring; most of my past students needed help with SAT math prep. I like to work through problem areas with my students, breaking down each question into smaller parts that they can manage and then putting those parts back together in order to solve the problem in its entirety. Additionally I scored a 5 on my AP Calculus AB exam while in high school so I'm familiar with the curriculum.

In order to get a degree in biology I had to take courses in chemistry, organic chemistry, and physics along with biology. Most recently this culminated in taking the MCAT where I scored 131 (99th percentile) on Chemistry/Physics, Biology/Biochemistry, and Psychology/Sociology with a score of 518 overall.
