At the age of 79 and being retired, I personally want to just help as many people that I can, especially young people who have their whole lives ahead of them. I have taught seventeen years full time, grades three through nine, ending with the chairmanship of language arts in a middle school. I have scored essays for the state of California under CAHSEE guidelines. These essays were helpful for the students to receive a high school graduation. I have also taught General Equivalency Courses at the high school level and in the prison system. I also studied to get my insurance licenses so that I could help high school students get money for higher education. I also substituted wherever and whenever needed, teaching whatever subject needed for many years. Therefore, you see I have a very diverse educational background However, I do have time to play the piano, a form of relaxation for me, as well as reading to enrich my life.
