I am a special education teacher in the Albuquerque area. I have worked in education for two years now specifically supporting students with IEPs and special needs. I can assist in most areas of studies, as I have supported in social studies, language arts, science, and math classes up through the middle school level. I have specific training in building reading and writing skills, including phonics, vocabulary, and reading comprehension. I am good at expounding academic topics and breaking complex problems down in to their component parts. Other than that, I enjoy working one-on-one with students and like to give them plenty of time to work through their studies and ask questions so they can learn competently.
