Certified Tutor

Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me. My career in education formally began in 1994 upon receiving my degree in Elementary Education from the University of Cincinnati. That, in combination with my vast certifications and experiences in teaching/mentoring/ and academic coaching, has spanned over 20 years in the education field. I have had the opportunities to work with children and adults of all ages and abilities while teaching for Cincinnati Public Schools, Los Angeles Unified Schools, Cobb County Schools, Atlanta Public Schools, and the University of Cincinnati. Throughout my career I have taught children grades P-12 as a certified special education and general education classroom teacher, academic enrichment coach, tutor, and curriculum specialist. I believe all students can learn! I enthusiastically approach educating students offering a variety of learning experiences based on individual learning styles. I especially think that learning can and should be fun! In my spare time I enjoy long walks, watching movies, listening to and performing music, traveling and just hanging out with friends and family.
