I graduated from Dartmouth College in 2018 and got my Masters in Nutrition from Columbia University in 2019. I am currently in the process of applying to medical school for the Fall of 2020.
I have previous experience tutoring students for the SAT specially the SAT math section. I will be tutoring students in Biology, Math, SAT Math and the MCAT Biology section. I do enjoy tutoring in the math and science fields because these are subjects that I enjoyed when I was in school and hope to continue learning about these fields in my future career.
My tutoring style mainly revolves around making sure the student is comfortable in the tutoring environment. I believe that to truly understand a subject they have difficulty with they have to be alright with getting the wrong answer in the beginning as long as they are willing to work together to figure out the thought process to get the correct answer.
Outside of tutoring I enjoy outdoors activities such as hiking, running and swimming.
I look forward to working with students in the future to help them attain competency and mastery in any subject.
