I have had the opportunity and benefit of having many different education and leadership positions in my career. Yet, when someone asks me what is my career, I inevitably respond "I am a teacher." In my experience, nothing matches the satisfaction and excitement when a student "gets it," asks related questions, or even challenges the veracity/usefulness of the new idea/concept. I will use whatever resources/approaches that aid my student/learning partner in reaching a true understanding of new concepts/ideas.

As a life-long Cleveland, Ohio resident who now lives in Florida, I continue to be an avid fan of the Cleveland Cavaliers, Cleveland Browns, and Cleveland Guardians. However, as a Floridian, I have the benefit of being able to ride my bicycle nearly every day and visit the Gulf of Mexico which is only minutes away from our home. My wife and I have Annual Passes for Disney World (2 hours away) as well as Busch Gardens (one hour away). We love Broadway shows and frequently attend the Broadway Series at the Straz Center in Tampa.
