Hello! My name is Kate, and I am dedicated to supporting students in the sciences and humanities. I have a strong academic background in public health, biology, and the health sciences, and I am currently pursuing my Doctor in Medicine degree. My bachelor's degree is in public health, with minors in biology, health science, and health education. I also have a Master in Public Health degree. Throughout my educational journey, I discovered a deep passion for teaching and mentoring students, particularly in subjects that can be challenging without the right guidance.
I specialize in tutoring biology and life sciences at both high school and college levels, offering students a solid understanding of complex concepts in a way that is approachable and engaging. I also provide comprehensive support in public health and health sciences for learners at all levels, from high school students exploring health careers to graduate students navigating advanced coursework. My goal is to make these subjects less intimidating by connecting the material to real-world applications and breaking down information into manageable steps.
In addition to my background in the sciences, I have always had a strong love for language and writing. I offer tutoring in high school English and writing because I believe that strong communication skills are essential in every field. Whether a student needs help organizing essays, strengthening grammar, or finding their voice in creative writing, I provide a supportive space for them to grow as confident, effective writers.
Above all, I strive to create a learning environment that is patient, encouraging, and tailored to each student's unique needs. I take pride in helping students gain not only better grades, but also greater confidence in their academic abilities.

I am very passionate about public health advocacy! Aside from my professional endeavors, I love to practice yoga, run, golf, and spend time with my dog.
