I taught writing, literature, and women's studies for 13 years for jr. high through college age students. I've worked as an academic coach at a med school, and tutored in writing, test prep, and helped many students write the college essay that got them into their dream school.

I am currently working as a happy Data Scientist with a consulting firm here in Phoenix. However, I miss the student interactions from being a tutor during my high school and undergrad days, and I would like to give back to my community in what small way I can. I have a fundamental belief that with the right mindset, a good amount of effort, and the right support, all students can do well.
