I taught middle and high school for 12 years. I have taught World History, American History, Government, Geometry, Algebra, Band, Choir, and Guitar. I enjoy learning foreign languages, as well. I enjoy helping others succeed in their endeavors and am eager to help students reach their full potential.

...am a relatively young teacher, but I have been instructing for several years now. I have degrees in History and Classics, and I have taught a wide range of subjects from Latin to ancient history to mythology and writing! My greatest experience, however, has been in teaching Latin for which I have taught students from 10 years old to 30. I hope to bring my experience, resources, and enthusiasm to more learners with Varsity Tutors.

My true passion is collaborating with others who have a variety of backgrounds to learn in an authentic manner. I am dedicated to the principle of life-long learning. I remember seeing a picture of former U.S. President Harry Truman reading a book checked out from the local library shortly before his death. Now, that is life-long learning.

I am a Grand Canyon University student expected to graduate with an accounting degree in December 2018. Math is my passion and I am a firm believer that there is more than one way to find a solution. The best feeling is leading others to their desired state of success.

I worked for three years in the business arena as a representative for a technical school. I married, and also raised six children.
