Spanish and math have always been my favorite subjects. I struggled with both subjects until I realized that both follow a pattern and have specific rules to follow. To be successful in Spanish and math is to have a solid understanding of when to use those rules. Since then, I have been tutoring both subjects, as I have a natural ability to break concepts down into smaller pieces. My teaching philosophy is to use a variety of mediums to increase understanding including stories, analogies, poems, and even games. I have over 10 years of experience tutoring and teaching math and Spanish, and I even traveled to Costa Rica where I attended the Universidad de Costa Rica before I finished my degree at Oregon State University.
