My motivation is to provide the student with an encouraging experience as we embark down his/her mathematical path. The journey can at times feel abstract, and present many challenges. I feel that connecting concepts with real-world applications is a useful way to provide a more memorable connection while navigating difficult problems. I aim to provide the student with a new perspective into skill building and problem solving, opposed to the same approach that has led him/her down the repetitive path of frustration. Breaking this cycle is imperative in order to reignite the brain chemistry necessary for real growth and motivation. I will strive to push for stronger problem-solving techniques, as well as assist in the development of unlocking stronger confidence while approaching tests and problem sets, which essentially translate into the real world. I would eventually wish for the student to feel motivated about the subject, and eager to conquer the next concept.
