I am an adjunct professor in the Writing department at Pima Community College with a Bachelor's degree in English and an MFA in Creative Writing. I love demystifying the process of writing and helping students to become stronger, more confident writers and readers. While I work primarily with teen and adult students, I did work for a year as a Teaching Fellow at BASIS Tucson Primary, and I enjoy teaching elementary age students. In addition to teaching, I am a freelance writer and copyeditor. When I am not reading, writing, and teaching, I spend my time cooking, climbing, and designing and playing board games.
