I have been teaching elementary school for 15 years and I am very passionate about helping struggling readers. I also enjoy teaching math concepts and number sense. My tutoring style is usually very upbeat, positive, and engaging. I will get to know your child and their interests to maximize engagement.
I attended VCU, right here in Richmond, and graduated in 2002 with a Masters degree in Education. I also have a current teaching license for the state of VA.
I enjoy reading, spending time with my family, and staying active.
