My name is Mariah and I'm in my second year of my nursing major currently at Saginaw Valley State University for my BSN degree. I hope to get to know you through this platform!

Growing up, I have always loved learning and enjoyed school. I was first introduced to tutoring when I needed a tutor for the ACT during my junior year of high school. Over the course of my tutoring, I learned very valuable skills that I still carry with me in my schooling today. I would love the chance to pass these skills on to you. On top of the learning, I formed a very close bond with my tutor. This close relationship helped to further what I got out of each tutoring session because I knew my tutor truly wanted me to succeed. I hope to form these bonds as a tutor myself.

During my freshman year of college, I was lucky enough to tutor my favorite subject- math! I worked at the Math and Physics Resource Center on my college's campus. This job was something I greatly enjoyed because I love learning and I love to help others learn! I believe that this tutoring job taught me what it truly means to be a tutor and that is how I know I will help others on this platform.
