I'm an ecologist with a wide range of interest in math and science, from geology to entomology and statistics. I'm interested in the history and philosophy of math and science, and I enjoy working with students to understand familiar ideas through new perspectives. I have a Master's degree in Restoration Ecology from the University of Illinois and a BA in Environmental Studies from Lawrence University. As a tutor, I'm patient and curious. I try to build up new concepts from familiar angles that show how concepts in math and science are connected.
