I am a junior at Bryn Mawr College majoring in Biology with minors in Health Studies and Peace, Conflict, and Social Justice Studies. During high school, I participated in a multitude of enrichment programs, such as NSLI-Y Mandarin, Human Oncology and Pathogenesis Sumer Program, and the New York Academy of Sciences Junior Academy. In college, I have been selected for two competitive research-related internships, one of which is at Johns Hopkins University with a 2% acceptance rate. I have an extensive background in working with youth from low-income backgrounds and students of color, particularly in editing college application essays, which is my main focus on Varsity Tutors. As a low-income student myself, I truly appreciate education and believe that it should be accessible and enjoyable for students - that they should not only work for good grades, but work to love learning, education, and how it guides them throughout life. In my spare time, I enjoy learning languages, going to the gym, and working on advocacy campaigns.
