Hello! My name is Katie Pearce. I am currently in my fourth year of doctoral studies at Georgia State University. I have a masters degree in public health and a bachelor of science in biotechnology and cellular biology. I currently work as a graduate researcher and have many interests in teaching and STEM education. I also have interest in teaching English, ESL, history, test prep, and other areas. I have been teaching and tutoring these subjects for over 9 years. I have worked with so many students of so many ages and backgrounds both online and person that it has shaped me as a person and educator. I have learned how cultural differences influence a student's educational life and passions and how to connect with students on a meaningful level, no matter their age or background. I also have several degrees, as well as several years of experience teaching various topics both online and in-person. I also have many accolades, such as being a published author, graduating magna cum laude from my college, and developing my own course material. I also deeply care about my students and their success and go over and beyond for them and love to be a part of their educational journey.
