I attend the University of Nottingham to study medicine. With my degree, I hope to use the concepts I am learning to improve healthcare outcomes in my future career as a doctor. My firm grasp of the fundamentals of math and science, combined with my eagerness to learn, has contributed to my success in my degree. Tutoring allows me to pass this knowledge on to others, allowing them to succeed in whatever field they choose. I have gained tutoring experience in secondary school and sixth form through volunteer schemes, where I helped my peers gain confidence in subjects such as A-level biology, chemistry, and maths in which they had previously struggled and to enjoy learning more. Alongside this, I taught private lessons to students in primary school, KS3, and those taking their GCSEs, which allowed me to know how to best cater to students with a variety of goals by tailoring my sessions in terms of content and delivery to suit each individual. Apart from learning, I enjoy hiking, working out and reading as they allow to me to decompress from my busy schedule.
