I am a graduate of the University of Nottingham, graduating with BSc Zoology. I am a passionate conservationist, keen traveller, and avid reader. My subject of interest is biology, in which I am an adaptable and enthusiastic tutor who would like to help students achieve the best grade they can, as well as foster a genuine enjoyment of their subject. As a younger tutor I have recent and relatable experience studying A-level biology, which helps me understand the struggles students may have, as well as the nuance of current exam technique. This also enables me to pull on aspects of the content that were poorly delivered when I was a student and deliver them in a more accessible way. I am able to take a more flexible and personalised approach to teaching, working to suit the needs of each student by getting to know them, and encouraging them to actively consider the study techniques that they have the most success with. I believe education is not only vital but should be fun, no one performs best when they are stressed or bored and it is this sense of fun that I can bring to the table. There is no such thing as a stupid question and we all learn at different rates and in different conditions, I would love to help students feel more confident in themselves and their abilities.
