Hello! My name is Oussama, a graduate of a neuroscience Bachelors at Queen Mary University of London, a Russel Group university in the UK. I have had experience tutoring since the start of my degree in 2019, helping students from the ages of 6 to 16, however the majority of my experience is with students in Grades 7 to 11. Having experience teaching groups of students and one-to-one, I have excellent experience gauging a student's needs and how to target their weaknesses to make sure they come out of their sessions one step ahead than they were before!

The sciences and mathematics are the subjects I am well-versed in . I have helped students that really struggled in these areas and familiarised myself well with the main exam boards of the UK such as OCR, Edexcel and AQA. In addition to the UK as this is an international learning platform, I have been making an effort to understand the American education system, although I have found that the content in the exams of both systems is indeed very similar so rest assured that I will be able to tutor to an excellent standard with my experience and instill confidence and passion with those whom I tutor.


Taking topics that tutees may find difficult and breaking it down in a way that is easy to understand is one of my strong suits. I love to see that 'ah' moment when the knowledge 'clicks' with the student. This makes it easier to build on what the student understands fully to gain a more complex understanding of the topic

Resources I like to use: Online whiteboard tools/paper to illustrate topics visually which tends to be easier to understand for students. Depending on the scenario, a good short video can help illustrate ideas and form the basis of a discussion.

Ages/levels: I am able to teach and have taught students from year (6 year olds) to GCSE students in year 11 (16 year olds).
