Dear Student

My name is Sarah. I am a teacher, writer and editor with more than 30 years in English language teaching and publishing. I have worked all over the world with students who have different goals and come with different needs and requirements. For them, and for you, I use my knowledge, experience and skills to achieve the goal.

For adults, school students and young learners, I can help you prepare to pass exams such as GCSE English, IELTS and the Cambridge, Oxford and Trinity English exams (e.g., Starters, Movers and Flyers; Key KET, Preliminary PET, First FCA, Advanced CAE, Proficiency CPE) at all levels. I will also help you with key skills such as reading, writing, listening and speaking.

For university students, I teach English for Academic Purposes to prepare you for studying at university and to support you when you are at university as either a under-graduate or pist-graduate student.

For business/corporate English, I have taught students from many different businesses. I have also published course books and exam practice books for Cambridge exams B1 Business Preliminary, B2 Business Vantage and C1 Business Higher.

I believe that learning happens best when you, as a student, enjoy learning and have the confidence to succeed. My role is to provide a suitable path to help you achieve your goals, give you lots of practice along the way, and to help you develop the necessary skills to move you forward.
