In 2021 I received my Bachelors in Science from UNC-Chapel Hill, having double majored in Biology and Japanese with a minor in chemistry. Since graduation I have worked in the COVID-19 surveillance lab at UNC-Chapel Hill and enrolled at UNC-Greensboro as a post-baccalaureate student. My goal is to apply to med school next year, and am currently interested in neurology and emergency medicine.

I'm a relatively new tutor, but to me that just means we get to learn together! I've always been passionate about learning and have very fond memories of my favorite classes, such as Calculus and Early Medieval History. As a student, I enjoy learning about Biology and the different concentrations in the field. However, I know balance is important so I also enjoy learning about public health and social issues.

As a first-generation college student, I know what it's like to feel less prepared then your peers and thinking that you'll never catch up. That's why it's my goal to help out students in similar situations to my own to achieve their goals, whether it be getting an A on their algebra test or preparing for standardized exams like the ACT.

In my spare time, I enjoy watching Korean dramas, crocheting, taking walks with my 5 dogs, and going to the gym.
