I am currently an economics undergraduate at the University of Leicester. I am most passionate about maths and economics hence deciding to pursue it at a degree level. I completed my A levels in maths and economics as well and this is what enticed me to further my studies in economics. My interest in the subject was clear however I would like to give credit to my teachers who really helped me firm the decision to further my studies in economics as they provided a solid understanding of the subject and without them I feel as though I would not have enjoyed the subject as well. Because of this I believe that it is vital to have a great mentor to really solidify your understanding of the subject as it makes studying it so much easier and would love to be that mentor for other students and would love for them to be inspired and to truly enjoy the subject. I have had experience in teaching students maths in the past and would love to be a great tutor and really make a difference. I believe that it is important to have a balanced lifestyle and enjoy playing tennis and basketball.
