Satyam Paul is a Senior Researcher in Engineering Control Systems at the Gas Turbine and Transmissions Research Centre(G2TRC), University of Nottingham, UK. From March 2020 to December 2021, he was an Assistant Professor (Mechatronics) in the Department of Engineering Design and Mathematics at the University of the West of England, Bristol, UK. From November 2018 to February 2020, he was a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, rebro University, Sweden and from February 2018 to October 2018, he was a postdoctoral researcher at Tecnolgico de Monterrey (ITESM), Monterrey, Mexico. He earned his PhD from the Department of Automatic Control, Center for Research and Advanced Studies of the National Polytechnic Institute (CINVESTAV-IPN), Mexico City, Mexico. He has a Master's degree in the field of Mechatronics and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. He also achieved full fellowship status "FHEA, UK" in recognition of attainment against the UK Professional Standards Framework for teaching and learning support in higher education.
