I am a scientist who is trying to understand cancer biology and identify novel targets and therapeutic approaches that would enable us to combat cancer. I did my undergraduate degree from India and moved to United Kingdom to pursue a Masters degree followed by a PhD. I have tutored and supervised a number of students in smaller groups or 1:1 sessions. My teaching philosophy is to try to emphasise on understanding the concepts rather than just memorising. I apply this to my work as well and feel pictures and flow diagrams help a lot, which I find quite fun to make. In my spare time, I love baking, running and bouldering (to burn off those cakes!).
