I am a graduate student of the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV). I received my Bachelor of Science degree in statistics and mathematics with a focus on statistics in 2018. After graduation, I served one year as a teaching assistant. I received my master's degree in Statistics in 2021 from the University of Ghana. After graduating in 2021, I was a graduate teaching and research assistant. In 2022, I served as an adjunct faculty member at Ashesi University, the best private university in Ghana, teaching pre-calculus I, pre-calculus II, applied calculus, and statistics courses. Currently, I am a presidential research fellow at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV), doubling up as a research assistant. I am currently doing a second master's in applied statistics and data science at UTRGV. I enjoy teaching mathematics and statistics because these subjects offer a unique opportunity to empower students with critical problem-solving skills and a deeper understanding of the world around them. Mathematics provides a universal language to decipher complex patterns and phenomena, while statistics allows us to make informed decisions based on data. As a teacher, it's incredibly fulfilling to witness the "Aha!" moments when students conquer challenging concepts and realize the practical applications of math and statistics in various fields, from science and engineering to economics and social sciences. I take pride in fostering a love for these subjects and helping students build the confidence to tackle real-world problems with quantitative reasoning. In my spare time, I enjoy researching new areas in statistics and mathematics, watching football, and swimming.
