An old adage states that if you enjoy your vocation, you will never work a day in your life. I have been so blessed for the last two decades to indeed do what I love and love what I do: nurturing students' love of learning and growth in character. As a seven-time Teacher of the Year honoree, my student evaluations consistently characterize me as a passionate, engaging, and warm teacher. My particular strengths lie in the AP European History and AP US History subjects (I have been a regular AP exam reader since 2009, and I am AP-certified in both subjects), though I have taught over one dozen different courses over my career.
