I am a graduate of Rogers State University. I received my bachelor of arts in Liberal Arts, with an emphasis in English. During the course of my education I took AP Language Arts courses in High School, and fostered a love of creative writing in college with a multitude of elective choices. My favorite classes have involved poetry and fiction writing, literature analysis, and art appreciation. Since graduating my career has allowed me to work with a wide age range of students in various subject matters, specializing in teaching those with disabilities. Ensuring that education is accessible to everyone is one of my greatest joys. It is very important to me that students leave their sessions with me feeling empowered and confident in their ability to meet their goals and become life-long learners. Whether it's prepping for a big test, completing a routine assignment, or having the opportunity to create something beautiful, I would love to be a part of your educational journey! Outside the classroom I can be found being silly with my precious puppy and dear partner, enjoying community through good food and hugs, and doing little creative projects around the house. It's my belief that investing time in your education and critical thinking skills allows you to create and live the life of your dreams--where every moment can be special!
