I believe a good teacher can change everything and that's what I aspire to do with each student/class I interact with. Being apart of the process of moulding lives and assisting students with untapping their truest potential, is my reason for wanting to help students.
I am an enthusiastic Mathematics teacher with over 12 years experience. I attended Mico Teachers College where I specialised in teaching Secondary students Mathematics and Social Studies. I later decided to pursue a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Guidance and Counselling with a focus on psychology and career counselling. I believe that every student can shine once you understand how students develop holistically. My degree paired with years of classroom teaching experience enables me to foster Mathematical skills in students while taking into consideration the emotional, physical and social sphere of a students' development.
My focus is on tutoring Mathematics, fostering students confidence and helping students to prepare for tests/examinations. Through personalised instruction and engaging methodologies, I strive to empower learners to excel in their mathematical journey.
In my spare time, I enjoy reading non fiction books and partaking in various sporting activities.
