I have 8 years of experience as a public school teacher: 6 years a 7th grade English and Language Arts teacher, 2 years of Special Education, and 1 year as a dyslexia interventionist. I am skilled in reading comprehension, writing composition, dyslexia intervention, and assisting special education student gain access to curriculum (specially designed instruction). In addition, I tutored/lab assistant for Anatomy and Physiology at Lonestar College for 8 years.
