As a dedicated tutor with over a decade of experience, I find immense joy in helping students achieve their academic goals. My passion for teaching stems from the pleasure of witnessing student development and those "light bulb" moments when a concept clicks.

My journey in tutoring began in high school, where I supported peers and younger students in German, Latin, and Math. This early experience laid the foundation for my future roles. At TH Kln University of Applied Sciences, where I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, I further honed my skills as a Math Tutor and Mentor. My professional career has also involved significant coaching and training responsibilities. As a Team Quality Specialist at Lufthansa InTouch and a Quality Assurance Specialist at Shopify, I have coached Customer Service Consultants on product knowledge and system use, translating my tutoring skills into a corporate environment.

I specialize in tutoring German and Math, subjects I am deeply passionate about. For German, I enjoy guiding students to improve their language skills, seeing their progress in speaking and understanding. In Math, I thrive on helping students achieve those moments of clarity when they grasp complex principles and can apply them confidently.

My teaching philosophy centers on putting the student first, ensuring they fully understand the material. My tutoring style is flexible and adaptive, tailored to meet each student's unique needs. I believe that education is a collaborative journey, and my role is to facilitate and support students along the way.

Outside of academia, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, playing soccer, and indulging in video games. Born and raised in Germany, I moved to Canada after completing my degree and have since embraced both cultures. I am a native German speaker with English proficiency at a native speaker level.
