I'm currently a freshman at Bates College in Maine, where I am studying Biochemistry. I tutor a broad range of subjects, including math, sciences, writing, and SAT prep. I especially enjoy teaching chemistry and math, because there are so many ways to approach each problem. As a tutor, I try to understand each student's thought process and help them find the approach that works best for them. I believe education is empowering, and I want to help every student feel informed and confident.

I also think that clear communication is an invaluable skill, and I love to teach people how to build persuasive arguments. Outside of academics, I like to play sports field hockey, ice hockey, and lacrosse are my favorites. I also love hiking, cooking, and reading in my down time.
