I am a writer, educator and a lover of the English language whose writing has appeared on The New York Times, HuffPost, and poets.org. I have several years of experience working with students one-on-one to edit their writing, strengthen their storytelling skills, improve their grammar and practice conversational English. I recently returned to the U.S. from Cheongju-si, South Korea, where I worked for a year with middle school students as a TESOL-certified teacher on a Fulbright grant. I am also a former AP Scholar and a 97th percentile ACT scorer, and love making the intimidating process of tackling standardized exams simpler and supporting my students on their journeys to reaching their academic goals.
