I graduated from Western Carolina University with a BA in English and a minor in TESOL. I tutor English, writing, grammar, and English for non-native English speakers. I worked as a grammar writing tutor and as an after-school English language teacher during college, so I have tutored everyone from age nine through students working on their graduate degrees. No matter their age, I love helping students improve their writing and speaking skills and watching them learn to express themselves better!

My teaching and tutoring style focuses on creating an independent learner. I was homeschooled, and one of the most valuable skills I learned was how to teach myself. So, as a tutor, I aim to empower my student so that eventually, they don't need me anymore!
