Hello I'm Barbara! I'm an MDPhD student at UPenn and completed my undergraduate degree at Duke in Computer Science. I've had nearly a decade of experience doing volunteer and student organization work in education through STEM and health sciences outreach programs. I am also an Exam Prep lead at my medical school and get excited making students feel confident and prepared for their exams. At Varsity Tutors, I'm planning to primarily specialize in SAT/ACT tutoring, my favorite subject being Math. I have extensive experience in math all the way back from doing math competitions in middle and high school to now doing my graduate studies in Computational Biology. I believe I am capable of getting even students who don't consider themselves as "math people" to do great on SAT and ACT math sections!
