As an educator with a Master's in Educational Leadership from the University of Houston, I am passionate about fostering a love for reading in elementary and middle school students. With over 2 years of tutoring experience and over 5 years in the classroom, including my recent role as an instructional specialist, I have honed my ability to engage students through differentiated instruction and high-impact strategies. My approach emphasizes collaboration and active learning, incorporating techniques like chants and hand motions to make complex concepts, such as inference and text structure, accessible and enjoyable.
