Hello! My name is Kate, and I have 10 years of experience as a tutor and as an informal educator. I love connecting with students and helping them grow.

As an experienced tutor and working engineer I can help answer questions about engineering, math, physics, and calculus subjects. My goal is to help my students understand their problems, how to solve them, and how to overcome obstacles when it comes to harder questions or on tests.

I have a B.S. in Physics from UCSB with multiple years of tutoring for college math and physics as well as high school math and physics. I have been involved with Physics outreach programs for local high schools during my undergraduate degree. In my spare time, I play music, hike, wrestle, and dance.
