As human beings, we have been gifted with the potential to learn. My hope as a tutor is to provide students with the resources that they need to reach their full potential as successful learners.
I hold a Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education and I have eleven years of experience working with children and adults in an academic setting. I am trained in Lindamood-Bell which focuses on the sensory-cognitive functions to improve reading and language. As a tutor my number one priority is to observe my students first to see where their strengths are and where they can use more support. I create my own plans according to the needs of each student and together we work on those goals. I hope to create strong and meaningful relationships with all of my students and I would be honored to be a part of any learning experience!
