I am a doctoral candidate in comparative political economy at Indiana University, and have a MS in Applied Statistics as well as a MA in Political Economy from IU and NYU respectively, and a BA in Political Science - International Relations from UPR.

My subjects are Political Science, Social Science in general, Statistics, and Spanish. Of these, I enjoy tutoring Statistics the most as I find it very interesting and have been on the opposite end, from learning it at first with some difficulty, to eventually getting a Masters degree in the subject. I also happen to use statistics in my other subjects such as political economy and political science research in my doctoral degree.

As a teacher, my philosophy is to try to make the topics I teach approachable by making students apply them to their interests. If a student has problems with a concept, I usually will slow down and deconstruct the idea or concept while thinking of how to apply and explain it to something the student is working on or is interested in.
