I will be providing tutoring in several subject areas this year. This is my sixth year teaching and my second year teaching and my second year at the middle school level. I previously taught grades at the elementary level ranging from third to fifth grade to students with specific learning and emotional disabilities. I also taught LD and ED SC student's my first year teaching. I received numerous hours of training on different reading and educational programs such as Fountas and Pinnell, and Orton Gillingham which are known to enhance learners in the areas of reading and writing. I am licensed to teach grades K-12 in South Carolina. I am a graduate of West Florence High School "West is Best". I have a BA in Applied Behavioral Science, a MA in Special Education, and an add-on Certification in Online Teaching and Instruction from Clemson University. Previously I worked several years as a Behavioral Health Counselor and Coordinator prior to teaching.
